POSITION SUMMARY:

As junior project leader to coach & work with other research scientists to take responsibility to promote project progress and archiving project milestones.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Independently design synthetic routes and finish syntheses on time 

• Consistently contribute to solving challenging chemistry problems across projects 

• Coach new chemists 

• Heavily involved in MedChem design and propose valuable design ideas 

• Proactively learn in vitro & in vivo biology, ADMET, drug development related knowledge

• Communicate effectively within chemistry and cross functional team

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Education or Experience (in years):

- Ph.D. in organic or medicinal chemistry

- 1-4 years industry experience

• Knowledge and skills:

- Solid synthetic chemistry skills

- Demonstrated ability in solving challenging synthetic chemistry problems

- Structure based drug design experience preferred

- Strong desire to learn drug discovery related knowledge

- Good English reading and writing skill

- Strong sense of responsibility

- Team player
